About
SAMS is governed and staffed by disabled people and families.
Our team
The real strength in our organisation lies in our people. Our team is made up of disabled people and family members. As a diverse team from a range of different backgrounds, we each bring a unique lived experience and set of skills to our work. We work from a strength-based perspective, supporting our team to focus on, and grow in areas that interest them.

The SAMS Board comprises people who possess extensive knowledge and experience in disability issues and rights. A significant portion of our board members, including our Board Chair have personal lived experiences with disability, while the remaining members are family members of disabled people.
Each member of the SAMS Board brings with them a wealth of leadership experience gained from active involvement over several years in the broader disability sector.
