Anne’s involvement in the sector began over 30 years ago as a parent. She has a background of working with families and for over 25 years, worked for the family based support organisation, Parent to Parent New Zealand.

Pati Umaga is a disability advocate and the current chair National Enabling Good Lives Leadership Group. He sits on a number of boards and advisory groups involved with the UNCRPD, NZDS and the Disability Action Plan.

Board Member
Belinda O'Brien was appointed a Board member in February 2013. Belinda is a Chartered Accountant and has 15 years auditing experience for global professional services firms. She brings with her a wealth of financial accounting/reporting experience to assist the SAMS Board to meets its financial reporting obligations.

Mike's shortened arms have never seemed to have shortened his reach in life. A highpoint was accompanying the Governor General to the United Nations to accept an international award on behalf of New Zealand.
